This 2-day Motorcycle Safety Foundation course is designed for the new or unlicensed rider. We begin with the most basic information on motorcycle controls and continue with lots of hands-on practice, including basic riding skills, street strategies, obstacle avoidance and braking skills. We provide the motorcycles for this course and administer the testing for your Colorado motorcycle license at the end of the class. NO TESTING AT THE DMV FOR YOUR LICENSE!
Cost
$225. Pre-registration and prepayment are required for a guaranteed date. Call us at 303-582-3002 to pre-register. Walk-ins are accepted on a space available basis. Your tuition is NOT refundable if you cancel with less than 48 hours notice.
Clothing Requirements
Helmets, gloves, long sleeve shirt and pants, eye protection (glasses are OK) as well as sturdy over the ankle shoes are required for all riding sessions. Helmets are available for your use.
Schedule
Classes are held every weekend except for major holidays. This is a 16 hour class. If you miss any portion we can't allow you to continue.
Scheduled Classes meet on:
Saturday & Sunday 8 a.m.-5 p.m. OR
Tuesday & Wednesday 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
Starting times are definite, but ending times may be adjusted due to weather or class progress.
Basic RiderCourse Enrollment Eligibility
Colorado Driver's license or permit. (There are some exceptions. Call 303-582-3002 for details.) Ability to ride a bicycle. (balance) Completion of a liability waiver form. (Call 303-582-3002 to review one before the class.) Parental Permission if you are under 18.
Our cancellation policy is 48 hours. If you can't make your scheduled date we do need 48 hours notice before your class starts. As long as we get that notice your money is completely transferable to another date or refundable minus a 10 dollar cancellation fee.
