MOTORCYCLE DEALERS and RELATED SHOPS

There are many fine motorcycle shops in Colorado.  Below are some that we've worked with enough to be comfortable recommending.

ASPEN VALLEY HARLEY DAVIDSON--Glenwood Springs

AURORA HONDA--Aurora

HIGHPOINT MOTORSPORTS--Glenwood Springs

MOTORCYCLIST RIGHTS ORGANIZATIONS

The following organizations are working on pro motorcyclist legislation and against anti-motorcyclist legislation and trends.  These issues include health-care coverage, mandatory equipment, road closures to motorcycles only, the outlawing of children's off road motorcycles, licensing and training.  We encourage you to research and then join these particularly effective organizations.

AMERICAN MOTORCYCLIST ASSOCIATION--The AMA works on a wide range of national issues that affect both on & off-road riding.

MOTORCYCLE RIDERS FOUNDATION -- The MRF focuses on national issues and working with state organizations on these issues.

NON-MOTORCYCLING LINKS

These are some organizations, charities and places that we like even though there's nothing motorcycle specific about them.

KIVA.ORG-- This organization groups $25 donations into micro-loans that really help people around the world on a local level.

All of our motorcycle safety courses for learning to ride a motorcycle safely are certified by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation and the Colorado Department of Transportation. A motorcycle safety permit is not required to take our motorcycle safety class. Our basic motorcycle safety class has instructions on how to ride a motorcycle safely. This includes both the written test and driving test for your Colorado motorcycle license. Passing our motorcycle safety class means that you will not need to test at the Department of Motor Vehicles.
